30 minute trip on the classic Sydney ferry took us through the harbour and past the North side to the suburb of Manly. Completely different from the main city full of visitors and lots of locals who probably have second homes out here. Shame there was no sun! Took a look at the famous beach and then had fish and chip supper at one of the many fish & chip shops. It was a bit scruffy but I think Dad's assessment of it being like Skegness was unduly harsh.
It was going dark on the return and there were some interesting lights on the Sydney Bridge.
